Update: Raycast Wall Blocking, Event Halos


Required: VS221_FogOfWarVisionMZ (v1.2.0)

What's new:

  • New — Raycast Wall Blocking (Line of Sight): Added the <FogWallRegion: ID> notetag. Vision will no longer pass through tiles painted with this Region ID, creating realistic shadows and blocking the player's view behind walls.
  • New — Smart Event Fading: The <Fade> system is now Raycast-aware. Events will automatically fade out or hide if they are physically within the view radius but blocked by a Wall Region (e.g., an enemy standing behind a wall is now invisible).
  • New — Event Vision & Halo Control: Updated <EventRadius: X> to allow events to reveal fog. Added the <NoHalo> notetag: if used, the event reveals the area but does not cut a "live" bright hole in the fog, perfect for stealth mechanics or non-light-source vision.
  • Update — Optimized Performance: Lightweight and smooth on RPG Maker MZ.
